Tony Ray Jones Bio

Tony Ray Jones, born in Baton Rouge LA, raised in Mobile Alabama, performed in and around the Gulf Coast area many years. Influenced from the age of 12 on by Country, Folk, Blues & Bluegrass and created a style of his own.

Tony’s vision was to be a singer/musician and pictured himself standing before large crowds making them laugh and singing songs that
touched their hearts. In time his professional career became a reality. In 1978 Tony began playing professionally with bands throughout the south with hopes to be in Nashville TN to further his career.

In 1990 he moved to Nashville and landed an audition and was hired by Opryland Talent Agency and went on to perform on the
General Jackson Showboat and Opryland Hotel for 4 years. After he recorded his first album “Three Wishes” he ventured on to road tours and began to open shows for Willie Nelson, Ed Bruce, Dan Seals, Sawyer Brown and many others.

When Tony Ray sings, it's with faith, passion, purpose and occasional humor.

Tony has focused most of his time using his talents Producing Demo's for songwriters & artist in addition to Voiceover's and Recording Projects at his Nashville TN Backwoods Recording Studio since 2005.  His goal and dedication is to help individuals achieve their own musical potential.
